Why?

Why not?

Why Wackyland? I've always been a fan of Looney Toons and when the new generation, Tiny Toons came out I welcomed it. I found myself relating to the character Gogo Dodo, a unusual creature who lived to do that which none expect, say the unusual, and to take the level of humor into uncharted waters. At that point in my life I found this unique individual to be my muse, and so when I needed to make a website for a class, Wackyland appeared. The archives and stories were just a further extention of a writing spirit and wild imagination.

Today I still find Gogo to be inspirational, but on a different level. Though my interests have turned from writing to more technical studies, I find the Wackyland has evolved to be more of my home rather than Gogo's. My email is no longer gogo at wackyland but Tom at wackyland. Maybe i've grown into it, or maybe its grown into me. Its quite ironic actually, I designed the stories to reflect the Dodo's need for a home where they could grow and explore the universe without fear. In reality the site and its identity have done that exact thing, for me.

Currently, the only people who really come to my site are those I refer to it and those that stumble across it.  Which is fine with me.  After all, in a web full of people screaming for attention, a whisper will be embraced.
